What is Lipomassage?
Lipomassage is the non-surgical and non-invasive treatment from Endermologie dedicated to combating fat and cellulite by sculpting the body within half the time of any original treatment.
The procedure consists of Independent Motorised Rollers (IMR), that massage the areas affected by cellulite. This clever hand held device works by two adjustable rollers that rotate in opposite directions and stimulate the connective tissue, breaking down the fat. The procedure will be carried out by a specialist who gives all clients a detailed consultation before any treatment is performed.
What is so good about Lipomassage?
This Lipomassge treatment is exclusive and unique. The two factors that make it stand out from the rest is the time it takes to get results and its attention to detail. The IMR technology targets the normally stubborn areas affected by cellulite such as thighs and love handles. These areas fat cells have a slower metabolism which means that all the trapped fat is more resistant to exercise and diet. The IMR technology speeds up the metabolism of fat cells, decreasing their life span and therefore getting rid of fat faster than the cells can reproduce. These body parts can be concentrated on to achieve a more toned, shaped body.
The intensity of the treatment means results start to show quicker than normal and after as few as 6 sessions (3 weeks) the dramatic differences appear in the form of a new smooth slimmer figure. Previous treatment takes at least 10 sessions to make a visible change. Working on those hard to reach places gives an all-round better looking body. It is advised to continue with the procedure for at least 8 sessions, and then return for a 45 minute treatment every couple of months - this gives more lasting effects. Each session costs about £60, depending on the salon and some places can offer special deals.
Lipomassage can leave some slight bruising to sensitive skin, but heals with time and a little cream.
Will it get rid of cellulite forever?
Lipomassage will get rid of cellulite for a long period of time and help prevent the cause of it. However it cant stop it from coming back completely on its own. It is up to the individual to work hard to combat it all together too. Therapists recommend that you drink plenty of water, keep a healthy diet and use many of the cellulite creams on the affected areas. Other treatments include the surgical procedure Mesotherapy which involves injections or Endermologie. Cheaper and simpler ways to reduce the visibility of cellulite include spray tanning and body wraps.
